Exclusive listing agent named for the former Northland Mall site

Friedman Integrated Real Estate Solutions, one of the nation’s leading providers of commercial real estate services, has been retained as the exclusive listing agent for Southfield’s 125-acre Northland Redevelopment Site within the Southfield DDA. This is a 125-acre redevelopment site.

The current master plan developed offers a mix of housing options, R&D, medical office, local retail, entertainment and dining.

Note that there are now three Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) and two SMART routes that serve a new set of bus stops on Northland Drive, at or near the former site of the Northland Mall. Another route extends to 9 Mile but bypasses the Northland area. Changes in some of the SMART routes are also reflected on these maps and guides.

Providence Hospital in Southfield Undergoing $15 Million Renovation

In yet another example of continued investment within the Southfield DDA, Providence-Providence Park Hospital in Southfield announced a $15 million renovation at its Southfield campus. The project is expected to begin in Fall 2017 and will cover a wide range of improvements that will benefit patients, visitors, employees and physicians.

The first areas covered by the renovation will include critical care units, medical/surgical units and the hospital’s birthing center according to The Daily Tribune. Read more here.
